Reporting to the MRO Reliability Assessment Committee (RAC), the Resource Assessment Subcommittee (RAS) shall conduct resource adequacy assessments for the MRO footprint. In carrying out the above purposes, the RAS will:
- Collect and report transmission outage data.
- Collect and report generation equipment reliability data.
- Evaluate NERC and MRO Standards pertaining to resource adequacy and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Implement studies to evaluate compliance with NERC and MRO Standards pertaining to resource adequacy.
- Develop and maintain procedures for the applicable NERC and MRO Standards.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Reliability Assessment Committee.
