The Midwest Reliability Organization Board of Directors represents a balanced stakeholder governance structure to assure regional reliability interests are represented. The Board is made up of nine industry sectors (transmission system operator, municipal utility, investor owned utility, Canadian utility, cooperative, generator and/or power marketer, federal power marketing agency, large end-use electricity customer, small end-use electricity customer).

The Board of Directors governs the Corporation and oversees all of its activities. It establishes and directs all organizational groups of the corporation.
